These include performance, security and operational aspects to support these initiatives.

He or she must display a balanced mix of technical and commercial skills, utilized in cooperation with a corporate architect for strategic alignment. The focus is on the technical decisions made regarding the desired ERP system solution and how they affect business results.

The ERP Solution Architect focuses on:

  • Frameworks, platforms, or tech stacks that can add up to create a solution

  • How the application will look like, what the modules will look like and how they will interact with each other and how corresponding tasks can be scaled

  • For the future and determination of risk in third-party frameworks/platforms

  • Findings solutions to changed procedures, tasks and business problems

  • The rest of the development team then uses this information to implement the designed solution.
